It seems like we’ve been living in opposite world since November and the weird trend is certainly continuing with the weather in DC. February brought a beautiful early spring that coaxed the trees and flowers into blooming far before winter was officially over. Suddenly, daffodils, cherry blossoms and magnolias were popping up everywhere and it seemed like we could put our winter coats away for good. But no, March has proven that winter is back and freezing temperatures quickly killed off the magnolias and more cold weather and a possible snowstorm this week will threaten the cherry blossom peak bloom. Spring was beautiful while it lasted!
